PM Narendra Modi on Independence Day announced the next generation GST reforms as 'double Diwali gift' for the people of India. "We reviewed the GST...GST on regular items and daily essentials will be reduced by a big margin. This will benefit many, including MSMEs. Everyday items will become cheaper," PM Modi said on Friday.
