The BJP has won more than one seat in Kerala for the first time in history, as its three candidates won in the 2026 state Assembly elections. Former Union ministers Rajeev Chandrasekhar and V Muraleedharan won from Nemom and Kazhakoottam, respectively, while BB Gopakumar emerged victorious from Chathannoor. The last time BJP won a seat in Kerala was in 2016.
