The Calcutta HC on Sunday passed an interim order directing authorities to stop further demolition of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's office in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas. This came after Leaps and Bounds Private Ltd, which owns the building housing Banerjee's office, filed writ petition. Justice Raja Basu Chowdhury directed officials to maintain status quo on property's nature and possession.
