Independent MP Pappu Yadav from Bihar triggered outrage by saying that the careers of 90% women leaders begin in the bedrooms of men. "Without the room of a politician, 90% women can not get into politics," he said. BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla called his remarks "shocking". BJP leader Charu Pragya said, "He should be dismissed from the Parliament."
