A tribal woman from Madhya Pradesh, declared dead and cremated in 2023, reappeared alive in March 2025, claiming she was sold and held captive in Rajasthan. The trial against four men, already arrested for the alleged murder, was nearly complete. Fresh forensic tests are now underway to identify the actual deceased.
