Award-winning actress Valerie Mahaffey, best known for her roles in shows such as 'Desperate Housewives' and 'Young Sheldon', died of cancer at the age of 71. She is survived by her husband Joseph Kell and daughter Alice. Valerie began her acting career in 1976. 'GRQ the Movie', for which she reportedly completed shooting, will release posthumously.
