A Balochistan activist, Mir Yar Baloch, criticised Aditya Dhar's film 'Dhurandhar', slamming the portrayal of the Baloch people in the film. He called the film "deeply detached" and "fundamentally detached from the historical and social realities of the Baloch nation." He added, "The Baloch aren't religious extremists nor do they wage violence in name of religion or through sectarian slogans."
