Difficult to say India certain to win Asian Games gold: Gavaskar

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar said Team India will be "pretty much a leading contender" for gold at the upcoming Asian Games 2026. "But because it's a T20 tournament, where the match can turn around in an over...it's difficult to say we are certain to win," he added. Gavaskar named Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Pakistan as India's main challengers.
