A 100-bed hospital in Indore, approved in 2020, remains only on paper, as neither the plot for it has been finalised nor has a single brick been laid. However, the Madhya Pradesh government has sanctioned 87 posts for the 'ghost hospital', with nurses, doctors and pharmacists appointed as well. Eighty of the appointed staff are working at alternate locations.
