The snow leopard, popularly referred to as the "Ghost of the Mountains" has been captured on camera for the first time in Himachal Pradesh's Dhauladhar Wildlife Sanctuary. The snow leopard has been seen roaming in the wildlife sanctuary. These rare, remote living cats are seldom spotted due to their excellent camouflage, remote location and solitary nature.
