Number plate 'HR88B8888' is officially India's costliest car registration number sold for ₹1.17 crore on Wednesday in Haryana. The number received 45 applications and the bidding started from the base price of ₹50,000. Earlier this year, tech billionaire Venu Gopalakrishnan purchased a VIP license plate for his Lamborghini Urus Performante, "KL 07 DG 0007," for ₹45.99 lakh.
