Janata Dal (Secular)'s Nikhil Kumaraswamy said if Congress leader Rahul Gandhi doesn't have confidence in EVMs then Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah should resign and the state must have fresh elections. "When UPA government was formed at Centre, then also EVMs were used," he added. Karnataka Congress has pushed for using ballot papers-based polls amid Gandhi's nationwide campaign against "vote theft."
