BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has posted, "In 1984, Indira Gandhi launched an attack on the Golden Temple in collaboration with Britain, with British army officers present in Amritsar at that time." He shared a purported letter on the incident written by then UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office's private secretary. "For Congress, the Sikh community is merely a toy," he added.
