'Indus Waters Treaty is outdated,' says India as it slams Pak at UNHRC

While calling Indus Waters Treaty "outdated" at UN Human Rights Council, First Secretary Anupama Singh said, "It defies logic that a state which exports terror [Pakistan]...continues to demand...privileges of cooperation predicated on...friendship." "A treaty negotiated in 1960 cannot be treated as a perpetual entitlement," she added. India held the treaty in abeyance after Pahalgam terror attack.
