AICC Secretary and Karnataka government's Guarantee Committee Vice-Chairman Suraj Hegde passed away on Sunday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 55, multiple sources said. Hegde was the grandson of former Karnataka Chief Minister Devaraj Urs. He had also served as the former in-charge of the Indian Youth Congress.
