Amid calls for a ban on Marathi film 'Khalid Ka Shivaji' for allegedly distorting Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's legacy, Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar said the film will be removed from the Cannes Film Festival selection listings. "I wrote to the CBFC and took the position that if the film spreads falsehoods and hurts sentiments, action must follow," Shelar added.
