Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge said SIT named a BJP MLA and his son as main accused in alleged voter fraud during 2023 Assembly elections in Aland. He said the SIT exposed an operation carried out using data operators, fake SIM cards and forged logins. A total of 5,994 voters were deleted at "factory rate" of ₹80 per voter, he added.
