Harinder Singh Sikka, author of 'Calling Sehmat', which inspired Raazi, claimed being threatened with getting blacklisted after refusing to sell his book. He recalled that Samar Khan, a representative of Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, said, "We gave ₹5-7 lakh to Chetan Bhagat. Who're you?" Samar apologised, but later said, "I won't let you work in Mumbai," added Sikka.
