Kerala Police registered a case of sexual assault against 'Manjummel Boys' director Chidambaram, following a complaint by a woman. Ernakulam South Police said the case was filed based on the survivor’s statement that Chidambaram allegedly entered a flat in Elamkulam in 2022 and behaved with sexual intent. The police have registered the case under Sections 74 and 75 of BNS.
