'Massive cyberattack' triggers false radiation alerts in Russia

Russia's emergencies ministry said on Monday that a "massive cyberattack" hit its application, designed to warn people of incoming drone attacks and other threats. The incident followed a suspected hack of Ukraine's air raid alert app, which displayed fake radiation threats. Notably, both cyberattacks occurred shortly after a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine ended.
