Calcutta High Court Justice Gaurang Kanth, while hearing Mamata Banerjee's plea challenging her defeat to BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari from Bhabanipur seat, said, "My elder brother is...spokesperson of BJP...I'll hear it only after full disclosure so that you don’t have any issues later." TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee, who was representing Mamata, said he had no objection to judge hearing the petition.
