Panic gripped Punjab's Abohar city on Monday after New Wear Well showroom co-owner Sanjay Verma was shot dead in broad daylight outside his store. Police and eyewitness reports, the incident occurred outside the showroom, owned by Verma when he arrived in his car. According to some eyewitnesses, three assailants came on a motorcycle, opened fire, and fled.
