Online cab service provider Ola has acquired TaxiForSure, India's second largest cab aggregator, for $200 million (Rs 1240 crore) in a cash and equity deal, the company said Monday. "With this deal, Ola has further deepened its footprint with TaxiForSure's operator led model," Mumbai-based Ola added. However, Ola and TaxiForSure will continue to operate as separate entities.
