A tourism plan for Pune district was presented, including paragliding, cycling, hot air balloon festivals and water sports. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar directed collector Jitendra Dudi to prepare a comprehensive tourism development plan. Pawar aims to increase tourist footfall to 40 lakh in three years and one crore in five, adding ₹10,000–15,000 crore to the district’s GDP.
