A modified Unitree G1 humanoid robot named 'Pemba' made history by becoming first humanoid robot to climb to 20,341 feet and summit Ecuador's Chimborazo volcano. It's part of the "Triple Crown" robotics expedition which may later include Mount Everest. The project aims to test whether humanoid robots can assist in hazardous environments where humans and conventional machines face limitations.
