'Russia could fall like Soviet Union', warned CIA chief: Report

CIA chief John Ratcliffe, in his unannounced visit to Moscow in August, warned the Kremlin of a Soviet Union-like fate, a German report said. He cautioned that the Russian economy could collapse just as the Soviet Union did at the end of the Cold War if it continues the war in Ukraine. He reiterated US' calls to Moscow to negotiate.
