A report by The New Yorker said some OpenAI insiders view CEO Sam Altman as a "sociopath" who's "unconstrained by truth". One board member alleged that Altman is unconcerned with the consequences of deceiving someone. Aaron Swartz, Reddit co-founder and Altman's ex-Y Combinator batchmate who died by suicide in 2013, had also warned that Altman "can never be trusted".
