Presenting the Union Budget 2026, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has proposed to establish 'SHE-Marts' to empower women entrepreneurs. "Self-Help Entrepreneur (SHE) Marts will be set up as community-owned retail outlets within the cluster level federations through enhanced and innovative financing instruments," the government said. Sitharaman presented her ninth consecutive Budget on Sunday.
