'Shudras serve higher classes' poster surfaces at IIT Mandi, director says students misinterpreted

IIT Mandi has ordered an inquiry into a controversial Bhagavad Gita-themed poster on its campus that said Shudras should "serve higher classes". Director Laxmidhar Behera attributed the poster to students' interpretation of the scripture. The institute has clarified that it had no role in the event where the poster was displayed and added that it will look into the matter.
