Christopher Nolan's directorial 'The Odyssey' earned over ₹17 crore on its opening day in India. It recorded a footfall of 48.7%, earning an estimated ₹17.40 crore net at the Indian box office across 8,413 shows, according to the trade website Sacnilk. The film was released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, with the English version contributing ₹13.75 crore.
