The US Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, has given Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei a deadline until Friday to grant the military unrestricted access to its AI models or risk losing its $200-million contract with Department of Defence (DoD), Axios reported. Hegseth warned that Pentagon could label Anthropic a supply-chain risk or invoke the Defence Production Act to force compliance, report added.
