Supreme Court asked Justice Yashwant Varma to explain who removed the burnt pile of cash from his residence's storeroom on morning after blaze (March 15). Denying that he or his family members removed the currency, Justice Varma said, "I and...my wife returned from Bhopal...on the evening of March 15. Therefore, the question of its alleged removal isn't known to us."
