One in five immigrants leaves Canada within 25 years of arriving in the country, a report by The Conference Board of Canada and the Institute for Canadian Citizenship found. It further claimed that the onward migration risk peaks after five years of landing. Higher-skilled immigrants and those with doctorates are more likely to leave within five years, the report said.
