Amid Israel's blockade on humanitarian aid to Gaza, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) report said one in five people in Gaza faces starvation. It added that 71,000 children and over 17,000 mothers will need urgent treatment for acute malnutrition. "Hunger and acute malnutrition are a daily reality for children across Gaza," UNICEF chief Catherine Russell said.
