10 convicts get death penalty in 2013 Chhattisgarh Naxal attack for killing 29

A special NIA court handed death penalty to all 10 convicts in the 2013 Chhattisgarh Naxal attack, where they killed 29 people including senior Congress leaders. The convicts can appeal against the verdict in High Court within 30 days. Maoists had ambushed a convoy of Congress leaders in May 2013 and killed them along with security personnel and civilians.
