10 killed, 17 injured in rain-related incidents in UP; 63 districts record excess rain

As many as 10 people were killed and 17 injured in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, as 63 districts recorded above-normal rainfall. The officials said that some areas faced a moderate risk of flash floods. They stated that UP received 19 times its normal rainfall in the past 24 hours, with rain, thunderstorms and winds damaging 117 houses.
