Scientists in Peru have unveiled a nearly complete skeleton of a dolphin-like creature dating back 8-12 million years, found in the Ocucaje Desert, once covered by the Pacific Ocean. The fossil offers rare insight into marine life when calm, sheltered waters created ideal breeding grounds for diverse species, researchers added.
