10 tourists drown at Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra beaches

Two tourists from Kodaikanal drowned at Velankanni Beach, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, after being swept away by waves on Thursday. Separately, eight students of Winners Academy, Pune, Maharashtra, drowned at Diveagar Beach in Raigad district during a school picnic. Police recovered all bodies; post-mortems are underway. Cases registered in both incidents.
