An ancient Shivling and a Lord Vishnu idol have been found in the riverbed of the Krishna river in Karnataka's Raichur, officials said on Wednesday. Archaeologists believe the sculptures could be around a 1,000 years old, dating back to the 11th or 12th century, reports said. The Lord Vishnu idol is in the standing posture with an aura around it.
