Apo Whang-Od, a 106-year-old tattoo artist who features on the cover of Vogue Philippines' April issue, has become the oldest model ever to appear on the front page of Vogue. Whang-Od is often described as the last and the oldest mambabatok, or traditional Kalinga tattooist. Prior to Whang-Od's feature, actress Judi Dench held the record for oldest Vogue cover model.
