11% Delhiites have mental illness, 12% visually impaired: Reports
In the national capital, 11.23% people suffer from mental illness, 12.83% are visually impaired, while 21.11% suffer from hearing and speech loss, according to the Delhi statics report 2025. Of the total 11.23% people suffering from mental illness, 6.96% suffer mental retardation and 4.28% suffer from mental illness.
