11 airlines have exited the aviation sector since 2016: Govt

A total of 11 airlines have exited the aviation sector due to reasons such as financial stress, non-availability of aircraft, and other internal issues. The figure was presented in the parliament by the Civil Aviation Ministry. Informing about the outstanding dues, the ministry said Kingfisher's dues stand at ₹380.51 crore, while TruJet has an outstanding due of ₹3 lakhs.
