At least 11 people were killed and 14 others were wounded in a suicide bombing outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan. The explosion occurred shortly after Vice President Abdul Rashid Dostum left the area following his arrival home from more than a year in exile in Turkey. The number of casualties may rise, Afghan authorities said.
