The number of companies with a market capitalisation exceeding ₹1 lakh crore rose to 110 in 2025 so far, marking a rise of about 13.40% year-on-year, data from Moneycontrol showed. The companies account for around 62% of total market capitalisation of all BSE-listed firms. In 2024, 97 firms touched this mark, together accounting for nearly 60% of total market capitalisation.
