111 MPs, MLAs changed parties after winning polls since 2022: ADR

As many as 111 MPs and MLAs changed parties after winning elections between 2022 and 2026, according to an ADR and National Election Watch analysis. The figure includes 26 Lok Sabha MPs, seven Rajya Sabha members and 78 MLAs. Nagaland recorded the highest number of switches at 32, followed by West Bengal with 20 and Telangana with nine cases.
