New Railway Ticket Cancellation Rules

As per the revised rule effective from July 1, passengers need to cancel their confirmed tickets 48-hours ahead of the journey instead of the existing 24-hours to get the maximum refund. Moreover, if cancellation is done between 48-hours and upto 6-hours before the train departure as against the existing 24-hours and upto 4-hours, 75% of fare will be refunded.
