Under the National AYUSH Mission, 12,500 AYUSH dispensaries and sub-health centres have been upgraded into AYUSH Health and Wellness Centres, now called Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AYUSH). Minister Prataprao Jadhav said the centres offer preventive, curative, and wellness services, with Karnataka having the highest number of AYUSH facilities.
