Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has announced that the salaries of 12,700 teachers, who were recently regularised, have been increased by up to three times. He said that the teachers will also get an increment of 5% on their salaries per year. BA pass education providers who were till now getting ₹9,500/month will now get ₹20,500 as an emolument, he added.
