Despite receiving three doses of the anti-rabies vaccine, a 12-year-old girl, who was bitten by a stray dog, has died at Kottayam Medical College in Kerala. She was on ventilator support after being bitten by the dog several times on August 14. Kerala Health Minister Veena George had ordered the setting up of a medical board to treat the girl.
