More than 122 children across MP have been admitted to hospitals with severe eye injuries, while 14 have lost their eyesight after playing with 'carbide gun' or 'desi firecracker gun' during Diwali. The makeshift devices, priced between ₹150 and ₹200, are being made and sold like toys, but explode like bombs. Police have arrested six people for illegally selling them.
